Assessing 2nd hand car windows is very important. There are few sellers of 2nd hand automotive glass that give a guarantee on the windows. In concrete terms, this means that any glass damage after payment is your problem. A crack in the windscreen will in most cases cause problems. Or in the longer term, of course, when the crack gets bigger or moisture reaches the coating in the windscreen, after which it will oxidise and form a white haze in the window.
