There are various versions of the Citroën C4, including the Citroën C4 Aircross. This model has only been in production for a few years but at the same time almost 7,000 units have been sold in the Netherlands. Do you have one of these and does the windscreen need replacing? In 2012, the Citroën C4 Aircross was shown to the public, a model that would never come to Britain and Ireland (because the Peugeot 3008, from the same company, was a great success). In most European countries, the C4 Aircross would be marketed alongside the Peugeot 4008 (with many similarities). The Aircross was immediately available as Attraction, Comfort and Exclusive, with the latter being the most luxurious version including a reversing camera, GPS and heated front seats, plus also 18-inch wheels under the car.

Little was done with this, and when the C4 Aircross disappeared from the scene in 2017, it was succeeded by the new generation of the Citroën C5 Aircross, which would completely eliminate the C4 version of this type.
The rules around windscreen replacement are the same for all car models. If the glass damage is in the windscreen and this is in the driver's field of vision, the windscreen must be replaced if it is a chip with a diameter of at least 20 millimetres or a branched crack. In fact, windscreen damage in this location and with this size means that your car will no longer pass the MOT. In all other cases, you can choose to continue driving with window damage. However, it is wise to remain critical and see for yourself whether the windscreen damage is distracting while driving.
