Cheap windscreen replacement for your Citroën Nemo

Citroën is known for a good number of successful, strong and innovative models that are known and popular all over the world. The Citroën Nemo does not belong in that list. That one is in the list of forgotten badge-engineered models that never got to the front row at dealerships. Consequently, less than 500 units of this model were sold in the Netherlands. Do you have one and does the windscreen need replacing? Then you will find the best windscreens at the lowest price with us, including the possibility of having the windscreen of your Citroën Nemo replaced on-site.

Before looking at our cheap automotive glass, let's take a closer look at the Nemo to see why this model has remained under the radar.

2008: the introduction year of the Citroën Nemo (and the rest of the family)

The Citroën Nemo was launched in 2008 as a smaller van, and this was in partnership with Peugeot and Fiat, who launched the Peugeot Bipper and Fiat Fiorino from it. The three models were virtually identical, and the main difference between them was the name on the back of the car and the logo on the steering wheel. The Nemo arrived at dealerships with either a 75 hp petrol engine or a 70 hp diesel engine, something that was good for engine emissions, but also immediately made for a mediocre (slow) image.

So how successful is the Citroën Nemo really?

The Citroën Nemo was not a success and there are several reasons for this. Models that are part of badge engineering
often become a moderate success at best. Even that status wasn't achieved by the Nemo, and that was partly due to poor results in ADAC tests and tests in Sweden, where the Nemo toppled over during the moose test (swerve tests). The Citroën Nemo was not a success in the Netherlands either, selling just over 400 models
throughout its production period. This was mainly due to the fact that its bigger brother, the Citroën Berlingo, was much more popular (and this was also true in the rest of the world).

So was the Nemo a bad model? Not at all and that makes it regrettable for the French car brand. In the advertisement below, you can see the advantages of the Nemo and even how versatile it was marketed.

When should the Citroën Nemo windscreen be replaced?

Damage to your car is always annoying. When that damage is in the windscreen, it can very quickly become even more annoying, especially when it affects your view of the road. However, it is far from always immediately necessary to replace the windscreen of the Citroën Nemo (or have it replaced). Is it a branched crack or a chip with a diameter of at least 2 centimetres and is this damage in the driver's field of vision? Then the windscreen does need to be replaced, because your car will not pass the next MOT with this windscreen damage.

In all other cases, you can continue driving with the damaged windscreen. However, it is wise to keep an eye on its size. This is because the chip or crack may become larger if there are large temperature differences between the two sides of the windscreen, for example during a cold winter day when you have the heater on full blast.

What does a new Citroën Nemo windscreen cost?

You already have a new Citroën Nemo windscreen for €299. Not surprisingly, these windscreens are also suitable for the Peugeot Bipper and the Fiat Fiorino (and the Fiat Qubo). Our prices are considerably lower than what your Citroën dealer will charge you, and there is a striking reason for this. The quality of the automotive glass is identical, but the original windscreens have a brand logo that gives them an exclusive character and that makes for a much higher price than our replacement Citroën Nemo windscreens. So if you want to be sure you are choosing windscreens with the best value for money, you have come to the right place. Our new windscreens are often even cheaper than second-hand ones, which says more than enough.

Can you replace the windscreen of your Citroën Nemo yourself?

If you are handy, have space and the right tools in the garage, you can do quite a few jobs on the car yourself. Replacing the windscreen of your Citroën Nemo is not one of the jobs you can do yourself. This is because it needs to be done precisely and correctly, as even a small mistake can cause damage to your car, the new windscreen or even to yourself. To make things easier for you, we cooperate with professional fitting partners who replace car windows on-site. So you never have to drive to a garage or workshop yourself; the workshop comes to your Nemo.

If you have your own workshop or know someone who can replace the windscreen of your Citroën Nemo, you can also come to us for new car windows excluding fitting. You can even choose to collect the new car windows from us. This is only possible by appointment, as we would like to prepare your order so that we can help you with new cheap windscreens as quickly and well as possible.
