The Dacia Jogger is the model that succeeds the successful Dacia Logan and, as such, expectations were immediately high for the new model. Until now, the Jogger has not managed to live up to this, partly because the type never really managed to surprise. Nevertheless, at the time of writing more than 3,000 units have been sold in the Netherlands and this number is steadily rising.

When the Dacia Logan was launched in 2004 as a collaboration between Renault and Romanian Dacia, it was a surprise that persuaded many car enthusiasts to at least test drive it. When the successor was presented in August 2021 in the form of the Dacia Jogger, the surprise was immediately gone. It is not so much a successor as a logical continuation of the third generation of the Logan in both a 5- and 7-seater, made on the same platform and quite a few parts taken straight from the Logan for the 'new' Dacia Jogger.
When a facelift was announced a year after the model's introduction, expectations were once again high, but again Renault and Dacia missed the opportunity. The grille was modified and a colour was added to the range (light khaki). A development that was more on taste was the addition of a hybrid model, the Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140 (after the horsepower rating), with a 1.6 12v petrol engine borrowed from Renault models (you will find it in both the Renault Clio, the Renault Captur and the Renault Arkana).
In early 2023, Dacia released the optional addition of the Sleep Pack for the Dacia Jogger, which turns the car into a campervan and makes it an ideal holiday car.
Fair is fair, the promotional videos for the Dacia Jogger are well-designed, especially the promo below, which is clearly by Renault. The focus on the car's modular nature, space ánd versatility would actually make you want to book a test drive right away:
It could just happen that you hear a tap against the windscreen while driving or find your Dacia Jogger in the car park with windscreen damage. A chipped windscreen is particularly annoying, especially as it is often highly visible. In far from all cases, however, this also means that the windscreen has to be replaced.
