The Toyota Hilux is one of the Japanese carmaker's best-known models and this is partly due to a world-famous television programme and a trip to a very cold place, where no car ever actually goes. Toyota decided to make some bolder adverts for the new model, greatly exaggerating the Hilux's power. The commercials were taken off the tube after more than 100 complaints were received about the ad. When the Toyota Hilux is used daily, and especially in areas this model was developed for, damage is actually pretty much inevitable.
