The Toyota Yaris is one of the Japanese automaker's biggest sales successes, despite being a relatively young model. However, the compact type entered the market at the perfect time and was soon out of print. This was mainly in Europe, as the model flopped completely in the US and Canada. In the Netherlands, the Yaris is firmly in the top 3 best-selling Toyota models of all time. Do you own a Yaris and do you need to replace the windscreen? If so, you will find quality and affordable new windscreens that can even be fitted on-site.
Before we delve further into our car windows, we first give the little Yaris the generous space it deserves.
In 1999, the first generation of the Toyota Yaris was launched to replace the Toyota Starlet. The model was immediately released as a hatchback and as a sedan/coupé, something we were already familiar with from Toyota seeking to claim a larger market share with it. However, the hatchback was designed specifically for the European market, which proved to be a good move, as this very ‘supermini’ would be a resounding success.
In 2005, the second generation entered the market, looking considerably more modern with more rounded shapes. Toyota decided to keep the same types for the model, partly because it was already a sales success at that time.
With the third generation of this model, things started getting strange. As you can already see above, there are two introduction dates for this generation. This is due to the fact that the hatchback was launched back in 2011 and the sedan would wait until 2013. This split is also what Toyota would keep for the next generation. This was also when Toyota decided to make regionally distinct models. For instance, Latin American and Asian models are often different from European versions.
This generation did not come to Canada because the model flopped there. There was also little enthusiasm for the Yaris in the United States, and there, too, the model would eventually be recalled from dealers.
The fourth generation appears to be a completely new model. It is built on the GA-B platform, looks considerably tougher and more modern and this generation even got a real racing version in the form of the Toyota GR Yaris. The hatchback of this generation saw the light of day in 2020, with the sedan following two years later.
The Toyota Yaris Verso is the MPV version of the mini (making it literally no longer a mini) and although this model has only been in production for 6 years, almost 8,000 units of the Yaris Verso have been sold in the Netherlands. If you are looking for a new Toyota Yaris Verso windscreen, you can also find it on this page.
So is the Toyota Yaris an exciting, sexy and attractive car that managed to get people to the dealer spontaneously? Not at all, but it was a supermini that could compete with the Volkswagen Polo, the Renault Clio and the Peugeot 206. James May (even with brown hair at the time) knew this at its introduction, as you can see for yourself in the video below.
While driving, you would like to have an unobstructed, clear view of the road. Windscreen damage is particularly annoying in that respect, especially when it is in the driver's field of vision. That is also directly the reason why the windscreen of the Toyota Yaris should be replaced in case of glass damage, but only when it is in the field of vision and when it is a chip with a diameter of 2 centimetres or more, or when it is a branched crack.
In all other cases, you can continue to drive with the windscreen damage. However, it is wise to keep an eye on the damage, because in exceptional cases, the window may crack further.
When you choose our replacement windscreens, you already have a new Toyota Yaris windscreen for just €299 (this also applies to the Toyota Yaris Verso). This includes VAT and excludes the cost of a new windscreen moulding, fitting and/or delivery. When you indicate your preferences on this page, the website immediately adjusts the total price so that you always know exactly what the total cost for the new windscreen will be.
The price of our automotive glass is significantly lower than what the Toyota dealer charges for new windscreens, while the quality is identical. Indeed, the car windows are usually even made in the same factories. Ironically, the price difference lies in the presence of a small brand logo in the original windscreens. This makes them exclusive, and that exclusivity will cost you hundreds of euros. That's why more and more people are choosing our cheap car windows.

They install our new car windows in driveways, car parks at shopping centres and business parks and any other places where you need windscreen replacement for your Yaris.
